Gabriel Pacheco, of Judsonia, Arkansas, passed away on May 2, 2026, at Unity Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 29, 1961, in Jerecuaro, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Jose and Isidra (Elizondo) Pacheco. Gabriel shared 34 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Isabel Pacheco. Together, they built a life filled with love, devotion, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Their marriage was a true partnership, grounded in faith, resilience, and deep affection. Through the years, they created a home where family always came first and where love was felt in every moment. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Jesus Pacheco and wife Hannah, Maira Walker and husband Grant, and Daniel Pacheco and partner Lexi Sharp. Gabriel was a proud and devoted father who led by example, teaching his children the value of hard work, honesty, and kindness. He took great pride in their accomplishments and the lives they built, always offering support, wisdom, and encouragement. He was a cherished grandfather to Roman Pacheco and Amelia Pacheco, who brought immense joy to his life. He looked forward with great anticipation to the arrival of his granddaughter, Sofia Walker, expected in the coming weeks. Though he will not be here to welcome her in person, his love will surround her forever. Gabriel was the second youngest of ten children, a role that shaped his strong sense of family and connection. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as one sister and one brother. He remained deeply connected to his siblings and extended family, valuing the bonds they shared throughout his life. A man of many talents, Gabriel was widely known for his extensive knowledge of construction and farming. He had a natural ability to work with his hands, building and creating with skill and precision. Whether tending to the land or working on a project, he approached everything with dedication and pride. He also had a deep love for animals, caring for them with patience and compassion. Gabriel was an exceptionally hard-working man who spent his life providing for his family. His work ethic was unmatched, and he never hesitated to put in long hours to ensure his loved ones were cared for. Yet beyond his strength and determination, it was his gentle spirit and kind heart that truly defined him. His love for his family shone brightly through the smile he always wore, a smile that brought comfort, warmth, and joy to everyone around him. He will be remembered not only for the life he built, but for the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in his wife, children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever remain a source of strength and inspiration. Gabriel’s life was one of purpose, love, and unwavering devotion, and his love will continue to live on in the hearts of all of those who knew him. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Searcy. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jesus Pacheco, Daniel Pacheco, Grant Walker, Antonio Perez, Sr., Juan Jesus, Adolfo Perez, and Martin Pacheco, Sr. The family asks that everyone wear blue in memory of their loving husband and father.
