Trudy Ann Scranton

Trudy Ann Scranton, 60, of Stuttgart, Arkansas departed this life on November 2, 2025 at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born October 26, 1965 in Pittsfield, IL to Irvin Hagen and Judy Goewey Bush. Trudy was a devoted homemaker whose warmth and love could be felt in every corner of her home. She had a gift for baking, and her famous oatmeal and peanut butter cookies were loved by all who knew her. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, coloring books, and games of Yahtzee or rummy, often shared with family and friends. Trudy found joy in watching classic shows like Little House on the Prairie, Leave It to Beaver, and Andy Griffith, browsing the aisles of Goodwill, or sipping her favorite raspberry water from Sonic. Trudy was known as the yard sale queen, and she had to have her coffee around the clock. She had a deep love for music, especially songs by REO Speedwagon, Alabama, the Eagles, Charley Pride, The Kendalls, and John Denver. She cherished singing hymns both at church and in her living room alongside her beloved husband. A woman of faith and gentle spirit she treasured attending services at Stuttgart Harvest Church with her daughter. Trudy also found comfort and inspiration in the writings of Janette Oke. Her kindness, laughter, and loving presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by, her son, Jordan Scranton, her daughter, Anna Brinker (Cruise), stepson, Randy Scranton (Marcita), stepdaughter, Betty Copus, seventeen grandchildren, and her mother, Judy Bush (Mark). She is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Scranton, her daughter, Amber Hagen, stepson, Rodney Scranton, her father, Irvin Hagen, her sister, Nancy Hagen, her brother, Mike Hagen, and her son in law, James Copus. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob, Arkansas from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with cremation to follow. The family kindly request that those attending the visitation wear blue in honor of Trudy, it was her favorite color. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
